Decisions in the Time of COVID-19

COVID-19 has exposed the urgency of three decision-making questions:

  1. What methods do we use for making decisions? (consensus, consultation, democracy, etc.)

  2. Do we intentionally match our decision-making process to the problem at hand?

  3. Do we plan to communicate how and why we made a decision?

COVID-19 will continue to create decision-making problems for your team.

And unaligned teams struggle.

By themselves, these three questions won’t solve our alignment problems. But without discussing them, we will probably lack alignment.
