What if... explorers > true believers?

What if the primary purpose of school were to form explorers rather than true believers?

How might we design learning experiences to help students to practice solving unknown problems with unknown solutions?

How much would we be willing to hand over to learners?

Would we be willing to hand it all over?

Because when they eventually reach the edge of the unknown—and that is a “when,” not an “if”—there won’t be anyone there to tell them what to do…

Each Wednesday we share a “what if” scenario. Consider it a provocation rather than a suggestion.
